Switch off completely

Time to Relax

Have you had yet another day of back-to-back meetings and deadlines? Work, children, household, friends and sport? When you finally get home in the evening, it can be hard to let go, relax and switch off. All the events of the day are still swirling around in your head. We tend to make plans for every minute of the day – so we seldom have a little window of time for simply relaxing. And then, of course, there’s the problem that we can be reached 24 hours a day thanks to modern communication which means our bodies are in a state of constant alert. That in turn causes stress, making regular breaks for body and mind even more important. But don’t worry – you can learn how to switch off. To help you, we’ve put together a list of a few simple things you can do.

#1 Don’t take your work home with you

After a hard day’s work, stop punctually and enjoy your well-deserved free time. A productive working day is coming to an end, you’re losing your concentration – it’s time for a break. In order to switch off, you should also set your laptop and mobile aside – because that’s the only way to relax. So that you aren’t even tempted to take a peek at your business e-mails, set yourself a tech-free period when everything, including Netflix and Instagram, is on hold. The idea is that there’s nothing around to disturb you. The natural ingredients in CAPS moodoo help to make you calmer. An extract of ashwagandha root promotes physical and mental relaxation processes and helps you to find peace.

#2 Habits as a factor of relaxation

Humans are creatures of habit so it’s only logical that switching off is also connected to habits. For some people it’s a cosy dinner with the family, for others it’s a lengthy stroll in the park or a long, hot bath. Our tip for successful relaxation: before your bath, apply FRESH scrub to your damp face and gently massage the exfoliant into your skin for one minute. Lie in the bath and let the exfoliant work for 5–10 minutes. Then rinse it off with lukewarm water. FRESH scrub removes dead skin cells thus accelerating cell renewal. After a hot bath, gently pat yourself dry with a towel, apply FRESH body milk and massage it in gently. Slip into your bathrobe and rest while enjoying a nice cup of tea. FRESH body milk is a rich care product that was specially formulated to meet the needs of dry skin. It nourishes and soothes dry skin with high-quality plant oils, giving you an intense sense of wellbeing and suppleness.

#3 Hobbies as a balance

Find a balance! And remember: the more different your job and your hobby are, the better. Do you spend all day sitting in an office? Then physical activity is the right balance. RINGANA SPORT go is ideal for regenerating tired muscles after a tough workout. Selected plant extracts like chili and ginger deliver a soothing and long-lasting warming effect and fresh strength. Carnation flower oil provides relaxation, while caffeine from coffee beans boosts circulation. Combined with a massage, SPORT go can effectively loosen up muscle tension. If, conversely, you spend all day doing hard physical work, then simply lie on the couch and read a book.

#4 Write yourself free

Switching off involves letting go of recurring thoughts that make you feel stressed. Write down important appointments in a diary, make a to-do list or jot down great ideas straight away on post-its. Once you’ve done that, it will be easier for you to be in the moment. Thanks to bioactive micronutrients such as ashwagandha root extract with withanolides, our CAPS cerebro promote learning and memory capacity, and help to ensure even energy levels. Turmeric extract promotes nervous system function. Indian pennywort extract with triterpenes and ginkgo leaf extract with flavonoglycosides help to preserve cognitive functions such as retentiveness. Golden root extract with rosavin helps the organism to adapt to stress situations and boosts our natural power of perception.
